All the same great things about the Gen 3 wrench but in a two piece design. This wrench does not require the removal of the front sight like the Gen 1, 2 or 3 wrenches. If the front sight needs to be removed anyway then I would still recommend purchasing a Gen 3 wrench which will save you some money but there are times where a user may want to leave the front sight on the barrel. These reasons may include checking for hidden serial numbers on the grip mount, replacing a barrel with a preinstalled front sight or cutts compensator, etc. Some older Thompsons with threaded on cutts compensators are much more difficutts to remove and the user may prefer to use this style of wrench that gives you option of removing the Cutts comp at a later time. 

This wrench is compatible with a 1/2" drive breaker bar and comes with 1/2" thick reciever spacers.
